Export documentation

Export documentation is a vital part of shipping goods to overseas markets. There are a number of reasons why we need them whether it be to clear goods through customs, it can be required as proof of origin to claim preferential duty rates, or to gain payment.

Certify your export documents

We provide a professional and knowledgeable export documentation service helping exporters process the necessary documents needed for a trouble-free transition of goods and prompt payment. We certify and authenticate the following documents:

Certificates of Origin
Commercial Invoices
EUR1
ATR
GSP
EUR MED
Other International Trade Documents

The Export Documentation service is available to both members and non-members of Surrey Chambers of Commerce. However, members benefit from a substantial discount on most documentation.

Registration

In order to process any export document, there is a requirement for your signature to be held on file by Surrey Chambers. A Formal Undertaking must be completed and countersigned by a Proprietor, Director, Partner or Secretary and returned to Surrey Chambers in original form by post.

Electronic Certificates of Origin (e-Cert)

Electronic certificates of origin E-Cert is a new On-line documentation service developed by the British Chambers of Commerce and is now available through Surrey Chambers of Commerce.

The service is FREE and enables UK Exporters to apply for an EC Certificate of Origin via the Internet. E-Cert is web-based and can be accessed through the Chamber's web site, signed using a digital signature, making the process quicker and more efficient.
