PG Winter League

We’re approaching that time of year when the leaves start to fall, the nights draw in, and yet the Masters still seems an awfully long way off. The game we love certainly becomes a bit less fun with that biting easterly wind tearing through us on the first tee. Even a trip to the range lacks appeal when the rain is coming in sideways!

Many of us fair-weather golfers just choose to shove the sticks into hibernation over the winter, accepting that our swings will rust up and those competitive juices will freeze over. But does this have to be the case? Short of popping down to the Algarve or across to Florida for a few months, how else can we keep our game in shape, ready for next season?

 

 

PG 2022/23 WINTER LEAGUE

We’re excited to announce the new PG Winter League, a series of monthly competitive, team-based golf evenings, designed to keep your game tuned up over the winter in the warmth of our lavishly appointed studio.
– When –

Thursday 17th November
Thursday 15th December
Thursday 19th January
Thursday 16th  February
Thursday 16th March

– Where –

PG’s state-of-the-art Trackman4 powered sim bays, at our newly-expanded studio in West Byfleet

– What –

Each evening will be hosted by one of PG’s team of accredited PGA professional coaching partners – Stuart Cartwright, Paul Nessling and Lewis Sparrow. The pros will be on hand to ensure you have a great evening, and will also offer occasional tips to help you get the best out of your game. We’ll run each evening across our three brand new sim bays, allowing three teams of four golfers to compete over some beautiful and challenging courses for an array of prizes. Beers, soft drinks and snacks will be on hand to keep you fully fuelled and refreshed throughout the evening.

– Format –

6:30pm arrival time, for warming up.
Competition starts at 7pm prompt, evening ends approx 9-9:30pm.
3 x groups of 4 golfers
Individual Stableford – with full handicap allowance
BEST 3 individual stableford scores to count towards Winter League
9 holes of golf over a selection of world class courses

Prizes for:

– Top 3 players on the evening
– Top 3 players over the 5 events

PG Winter League Prizes:

1st Prize – Holiday sponsored by Golf Escapes and PG Goody Bag
2nd Prize – Driver or Iron Fitting, Precision Golf Shirt and Goody Bag
3rd Prize – Precision Golf Goody Bag

Entry is £100 per person per event. Golfers can sign up for the whole series or choose from the available dates (subject to availability).
