UBC LAUNCHES ‘BUSINESS BOOST’ COMPETITION TO SUPPORT EARLY-STAGE BUSINESSES IN THE UK

UBC Flexible Offices, a leading provider of serviced office space and business support solutions, is proud to announce the launch of UBC Business Boost, a social media competition designed to help early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs accelerate their growth.

Aimed at businesses that have been operating for two years or less, the UBC Business Boost competition will provide one ambitious company with a comprehensive prize package that includes workspace solutions, professional mentorship, and essential business services. With small businesses and startups facing increasing challenges in securing resources, networking opportunities, and professional support, UBC is committed to playing an active role in fostering innovation and driving business success.

A Tailored Prize Package to Accelerate Growth 

The UBC Business Boost competition is designed to provide practical, high-value support that will give one deserving business the opportunity to establish credibility, expand their professional network, and access expert advice. The winning business will receive at least (we will be giving current clients the opportunity to contribute to the prize package):

✅ A 12-Month Virtual Office Package – Providing a prestigious business address at one of UBC’s prime locations, along with professional mail handling and telephone answering services to enhance business credibility.

✅ A 12-Month Coworking Membership – Offering flexible workspace access at UBC business centres, enabling the winner to work in a professional environment, connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, and collaborate with industry peers.

✅ Expert Business Mentorship – Direct guidance from experienced professionals, covering key areas such as financial planning, marketing strategy, and legal compliance.

✅ Additional Business Services – A selection of tailored services provided by UBC’s network of professional clients, which may include branding consultations, financial advice, legal guidance, and marketing support to help the winner refine and scale their business operations.

Encouraging Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The UBC Business Boost is open to small business owners, entrepreneurs, and startups that have been trading for two years or less. Entrants will be asked to submit a short video, image, or written entry that outlines their business idea, their growth journey so far, and how winning the UBC Business Boost would support their ambitions.

Entries will be open from 14/04/2025-30/05/2025. During this time, UBC will also be securing additional contributions from its extensive business community. Shortlisted finalists will then move to the next stage, where their businesses will be featured in an engagement campaign, providing an opportunity for public voting and further exposure. The winner will be announced on 26^th June 2025!

14/04/2025 – 30/05/2025 – Entry period with ongoing announcements of additional prizes and business supporters

02/06/2025 – Shortlisting of finalists

12/06/2025 – Public voting and engagement campaign

26/06/2025 – Winner announced and prize package awarded
