Currently, the maximum fines being issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) are £500,000. On 25th May 2017, this will increase to a maximum of £18 million or 4% of your global annual turnover.
Personal data is one of your businesses most valuable assets. Your database is your lifeline to the success of your business and the key to ongoing profitability.
Getting this right protects the reputation of your business; avoids punitive fines; engenders trust and ensures that you don’t lose out to your competition.
This continues our series of Power breakfasts which consist of a speaker presenting a topic which is then discussed over breakfast. This is a fantastic way to get clued up on a certain subject learning from somebody who is an expert in the field.
It is a great opportunity to start the day on a productive note by being able to walk away with some real tips on how to be more productive as well as meeting and discussing a topic with some great business people.
07:45am - Arrival with teas and coffees
08:00-08:20am - Speaker
08:30am - Breakfast and discussion
09:00am - Further networking
09:30am - Close
Please note booking closes at 15:00 on Wednesday 4th October.
Feeback from other recent Power Breakfasts:
Andrew Dennis – Power Breakfast at Sandown Park Racecourse
“Fantastic Venue and Breakfast. There was a good group of people, all with ‘can do’ attitudes as well as an engaging speaker. I obtained a number of new contacts and received further networking opportunities. I also felt that I had come from the breakfast having learnt something new which is a big bonus!”
Andrew Maxwell - Tante Marie
